Niraj K Jha is a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. His current research projects are in the areas of machine learning for smart healthcare, neural network and long short-term memory (LSTM) synthesis for sensor/edge/cloud, energy-efficient inference, IoT system security, and monolithic 3D IC design: circuits, architectures, applications. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Low Power Electronics and has previously served as an editor or director of many publications and organisations, including Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems. He has received 20 U.S. patents. Jha earned his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his MSc in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and his B.Tech. in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
